The brochure "Trans* am Arbeitsplatz. Suggestions for respectful cooperation" by the Netzwerk Geschlechtliche Vielfalt Trans* NRW and the Landeskoordination Trans* NRW is aimed at cis colleagues, employee representatives, managers and HR departments and is intended to provide guidance on how to create a low-discrimination working environment in which trans* colleagues and employees are treated with respect. In addition, the brochure provides basic knowledge on gender diversity, transition-related issues and trans*-specific discrimination in the workplace.

The Diversity Charter offers guidelines, tools and measures for companies of all sizes: the public sector, clubs, associations, foundations and company interest groups. These offers are based on the idea that diversity management looks different in every company and should be designed individually.

In administrative language, the "generic masculine" is still widespread, which means that women rarely feel "included". There is also often a lack of gender-inclusive wording in the area of diversity.

The City of Cologne has published guidelines for appreciative and gender-appropriate language that implements and takes into account the third positive gender entry in language. This guideline provides a successful guide to making diversity visible in communication.

The Coordination Office for the Advancement of Women and Gender Equality at TU Berlin (KGF) has published a guide to gender-sensitive language. This also provides recommendations for language that takes into account the sensitive treatment of LGBTIQ* people and offers practical tips for low-discrimination language use.

The "Diversity-conscious company" check from the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA) helps companies to recognize the opportunities and potential of a diverse workforce and make use of them. It offers opportunities to analyze your own company, identifies areas for action and provides suggestions and assistance for your own implementation based on concrete practical examples.

The Competence Center for Securing Skilled Workers (KOFA) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy also offers recommendations for action, practical examples and videos on the topic of diversity management. The focus here is on the approach of supporting companies in the selection, planning and implementation of individually tailored measures.

The State Coordination Inter* NRW has published a checklist entitled "Divers" and now? a checklist for the day-to-day work of recruiters and employers. It provides the basics on intersex, the legal situation and helpful tips on how to make the application process and the time during employment more inclusive for inter* people.

The Office for Multicultural Affairs (AMKA) of the City of Frankfurt am Main offers a guide "LGBTIQ & Work" for download. The brochure provides assistance on how to reduce discrimination in companies, what rights LGBTIQ* people have in the workplace and tips for gender-appropriate language. The brochure is supplemented by successful examples from practice and interviews.

The state government in NRW consistently opposes discrimination and violence against lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter*, non-binary and queer people (LGBTIQ* for short). A central task is social and legal equality, the appreciation and strengthening of LGBTIQ* and their relatives.
