Please note:

Due to construction sites and the Stadtwerke Bochum Triathlon, there will be traffic restrictions in and around Bochum on Sunday, June 18, 2023. The A40, A43 and A448 freeways will be partially closed.

We recommend that you travel to the Familienfest.NRW by public transport or bicycle. From Bochum main station you are welcome to use the free shuttle bus service. On the grounds you will find more than 1,000 bicycle parking spaces.

Arrival public transport

From Bochum main station, take streetcar line 302 in the direction of Gelsenkirchen-Buer or line 310 in the direction of Bochum-Höntrop. Get off at the stop "Bochumer Verein / Jahrhunderthalle". Now walk up the flight of steps and follow the paved path. After two minutes of walking you can see the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum.
