Youth counseling: Get help when you need it!

Do you have questions, secrets or are you in the middle of a mess and urgently need help? Then contact a counseling center directly for young people. It's easier than you think. All you have to do is take the first step and get in touch. Everything you discuss there will remain confidential. Counseling is free of charge. You can easily find the special services we present here online or in your local area.

What issues can I contact an advice center about?

There are a variety of topics during puberty that can occupy, unsettle or burden you. You don't have to deal with everything on your own if you don't have anyone to talk to or need support. Turn to either a general youth counseling service or a special counseling center with your personal questions.

Where can I turn?

You can also contact an advice center of your choice in person at any time with your questions and problems, for example at one of the following facilities:

  • Caritas
  • Arbeiterwohlfahrt AWO
  • pro familia
  • The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband
  • Diakonisches Werk

There are also special counseling services that offer you help in special situations:

  • If you or someone close to you is experiencing sexual abuse or if you are afraid and under pressure, you have a right to help.
  • If you want to know what an eating disorder means and what you can do about it, you can find more information here.
  • If you take care of your family a lot because someone close to you is ill and needs care, you can find support and offers at Project Pausentaste.
