Simply explained
What is the child supplement?
The child supplement is a financial support for families with small incomes. You can get the child supplement if the income is not or only just enough for the whole family.
How much is the child supplement?
From the family fund you get up to 250 euros child supplement per child. The more income a family has, the less it is dependent on state support. That is why the supplement decreases as income increases until it expires.
The calculation also takes into account the income of your children, for example, if your children receive alimony, alimony advance or half-orphan's pension.
For how long is the child supplement paid?
The child supplement is approved for 6 months at a time. After 6 months, you must make a new application.
