“Families make our society colourful, loud, diverse and vibrant. They are a place in which we learn from each other to be there for each other. Families here in our state have achieved a lot in the past few years. At the same time, they have been exposed to extraordinary pressures and still are today. With this family festival, we want to show our appreciation for families in their diversity and enable them to have a good day even in challenging times. This festival should be all about families, having fun together and the opportunity to present clubs, associations and initiatives that support families with their work.”
Josefine Paul, Minister for Family Affairs North Rhine-Westphalia
