Where can I find help and advice?
- Single parents can get advice and support from the youth welfare office, especially when it comes to conflicts of interest regarding custody and access rights. The youth welfare office mediates between parents and shows ways forward.
- Single parents can find quick and uncomplicated help as well as referrals to professional advice services on the information platform of the Verband der alleinerziehenden Mütter und Väter in NRW (VAMV).
The association has also set up a telephone hotline for single parents. The advice line can be reached on 0201 82774-799. - You can use the offer map from VAMV-NRW to filter for offers in your area.
